USAID funds several projects in the DRC as part of its Complex Crises Fund (CCF) programming, with the aim of achieving social cohesion and inclusive citizen participation in the DRC.
It is within this framework that a quantitative online primary data collection was organized and implemented by Innovations et Entrepreneuriat Social (IES) through its call center in October 2023, in partnership with Social Impact and MSSP-USAID. The aim of this survey was to analyze the perceptions of Congolese citizens with regards to the socio-electoral process, in order to enable USAID and its partners to foresee relevant actions. This wide-ranging survey was broadened throughout the DRC, and more specifically in Kasaï-Oriental, Sud-Kivu, Kasaï-Central, Kinshasa, Haut-Katanga, Nord-Kivu, Ituri, Tanganyika, Tshopo, Lualaba, Haut-Lomami, Kongo-Central, Lomami, Mai-Ndombe and Sankuru.
The IES call center has phone operators who speak the 4 national languages (Lingala, Tshiluba, Kikongo, and Swahili).
