Innovations & Entrepreneurship Social (IES) is a regional Think-Do-Tank delivering high-quality Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), Third-Party Monitoring (TPM), applied research, digital data systems, and evidence-driven learning. We combine international methodological standards with a deep field presence across fragile and complex environments, providing reliable insights that strengthen strategic and operational decision-making.
Operational since 2012, we support governments, development agencies, and implementing partners in designing and implementing science-based, context-responsive, and scalable solutions. OUR IDENTITY & FOOTPRINT
Operational across the Great Lakes region — the DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya — IES maintains its largest institutional and logistical base in the DRC, serving as our regional hub.
With 90+ senior experts, more than 1,000 trained enumerators, and a proven ability to deploy seamlessly across all 21 provinces of the DRC and neighbouring countries, IES operates one of the most reliable and agile MEL infrastructures in the entire Great Lakes region. Our teams are fully equipped to conduct large-scale data collection, research, TPM and evaluation assignments in Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and beyond.
Through a network of trusted local partners in the Great Lakes region and neighboring countries — including the Central African Republic, Mali and Malawi — IES ensures seamless operational reach, contextual intelligence and consistent technical quality across borders.
