Presently working as Technical Director at Innovations & Entrepreneurship, a MEAL consultancy firm; Mr. Emmanuel Muzigirwa is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Expert with experience working in fragile and post conflict context on an array of donor-funded projects. He has worked in several important humanitarian and development programs in the post conflict and fragile East of DRC with USAID, Echo, EuropeAid, DFID and World Bank founds. Recently, Mr. Emmanuel has worked at UNDP as a National MEAL Expert (2019-2021) and at Management System International, a Tetratech company (2017-2019) as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for a USAID Social Cohesion Program. He has consulted for an array of non-governmental organizations - including Adam Smith International, Caritas Spain, People in Need, EPER Swiss, Cordaid, Search for Common Ground, among others in meta-Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. He has acquired 14 years of professional experience in international development sector related to project management, project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, surveys, research, community development and private sector development. Mr. Emmanuel holds a master’s degree in economics for Development from the University of Valladolid (Spain) where he is pursuing with doctoral research, a MSc in Monitoring and Evaluation (UTAMU, Uganda) and a BSc in Economics from the Catholic University of Bukavu (DRC) where he was lecturer.

Ms. Muhuku Salama Dora has over 20 years of professional experience. Her areas of expertise are public health and gender. In health, she has developed skills in health promotion interventions in terms of management of prevention programs, education and monitoring and evaluation, including the delivery of courses in public and private institutions of higher learning. In the area of gender, she has conducted impact and process studies and evaluations; facilitated trainings; developed gender policies and strategies; and provided technical support to local, national and international organizations. Ms. Muhuku has strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills. BALUME MWEZI Euclide holds a degree in Management and Administration of projects completed by a Diploma in Public Health. In addition to this Academic training, he attended several in Project management and evaluation. He has 10 years of experience in research, monitoring and evaluation. Euclid focused on Research and Social Innovations for Sustainable and Inclusive Socio-economic Development of communities as well as organizations. As a Researcher, he has already worked in several humanitarian and development projects and led several monitoring-evaluation and consultancy missions with funding from the Irish Government for the HPP, USAID, Echo, DFID, UNICEF, DEC, Luxembourg Government, Germany Government, and the World Bank. More recently, he was consulted in major evaluations in the field of economic development, human rights and /or peacebuilding under contract of IES Congo.

Kamala C. Kaghoma holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Yaoundé II-Soa with majors in Econometrics and Environmental economics. He is currently a professor of quantitative economics and research methods at the Université Officielle de Bukavu (UOB) and the Université Catholique de Bukavu (UCB) where he has been teaching for more than a decade. Kamala’s main areas of research include Peace and reconstruction Economics, Public Economics, Environmental Economics, Human resources Economics, Development microeconomics, Applied Macroeconomics, Applied quantitative methods and research methodology. His work focuses on labor conditions and quality, poverty dynamics, social mobility and intergenerational (multidimensional) welfare transmission with emphasis on African countries. He is currently working on several development-related issues: child health, youth employment and job quality, overeducation and entrepreneurship in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the role of social networks with regards to the management of natural resources. Kamala Kaghoma has conducted field research, evaluations and surveys in DRC and has some consultancy experience in Africa. As part of IES, he is a senior evaluator and research supervisor.

Mr. Byamungu wanguwabo David holds a Master’s degree (M) in sciences, specially, in the Applied Statistics option got at Jomo Kenyata University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi, Kenya in 2019 after brilliant studies of Licence (Bachelor’s degree) got at the Teacher’s Training College of Bukavu (ISP-BUKAVU) in 2005. Today, he is a Doctorate in the Department of Applied Mathematics, the Faculty of Sciences at Burundi University, with specialization in Applied Statistics. Mr. David is a teacher of Statistic and Mathematic courses in several universities (“ULPGL”, “UCS”, “ISIG”, “UAGO”, “ISTA”/ University of Burundi). He is also an expert analyst of quantitative and qualitative data using tools such as SPSS, STATA, R, e-Views, MATLAB, epi-Info, … Mr.David is also member of Consortium Research Team of Professor PETER A. Elvis AMANI ZIHALIRWA is a Lawyer in Economic and Social Law of the Official University of Bukavu (UOB). He specializes in the protection, gender and socio-economic reintegration of women and children. He is conducting his research in international humanitarian law, environmental law, land law and mining governance. He has more than four experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects, learning and capacity building in data collection, recycling plastics waste, entrepreneurship and social protection of children and other vulnerable people including the elderly and people with disabilities. In his research, he uses the mixed methodological approach by combining qualitative and quantitative data. He has experience in gender analysis and differentiated evaluations according to sex. Most recently, he has been involved in various studies, including the prevention and holistic care of victims and survivors of gender-based violence, the strengthening of social cohesion and the participation of women and young people in decision-making bodies and peace initiatives. Currently, he is social studies and Evaluator Officer at Innovations and Social Entrepreneurship (IES - Congo), trainee at the Lawyers' Office Thaddée Mutingamo of the South-Kivu Bar and research assistant at the Center of Expertise in Mining Management of the Catholic University of Bukavu (CEGEMI-UCB).

He has also been trained and certified in project management and as a Change Agent and Activist for Sustainable Development Goals by the Mike Oladipo Global Influence. Gloire has about 5 years of professional experience in finance and banking. He worked at BCDC (Commercial Bank of Congo), EQUITY BANK and FINCA DRC. He has also an experience in Finance with humanitarian organization precisely with youth platforms and organizations. He coordinates the KIVU AMKA project, which supports women and young entrepreneurship initiatives.

Ms. Wivine is a rural development technician and an expert in GBV/SEA (gender-based violence/sexual abuse and exploitation). Lebon HWALI MASHEKA has a degree in the Degree in Rural Economics of the Evangeline University in Africa (UEA). He has more than five years of experience in research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Market Research and Higher Education and University. He is focused in the Research of agricultural market analysis, the accompaniment of farmers for their sustainable socio-economic development and Inclusive. He has already worked as a follow-up and project evaluation for four years at LADAPS DRC on the good governance of the VSBG preventive projects and the empowerment of women and girls in the South Kivu; financing of the Swiss Cooperation, UNDP, MONUSCO. Currently responsible for monitoring and evaluation and market development within IES, has already participated in several evaluations of projects and programs for national NGOs, International and in various areas: protection and social-economic insertions, market studies, health, ...
