Presently working as Technical Director at Innovations & Entrepreneurship, a MEAL consultancy firm; Mr. Emmanuel Muzigirwa is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) Expert with experience working in fragile and post conflict context on an array of donor-funded projects. He has worked in several important humanitarian and development programs in the post conflict and fragile East of DRC with USAID, Echo, EuropeAid, DFID and World Bank founds. Recently, Mr. Emmanuel has worked at UNDP as a National MEAL Expert (2019-2021) and at Management System International, a Tetratech company (2017-2019) as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for a USAID Social Cohesion Program. He has consulted for an array of non-governmental organizations - including Adam Smith International, Caritas Spain, People in Need, EPER Swiss, Cordaid, Search for Common Ground, among others in meta-Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. He has acquired 14 years of professional experience in international development sector related to project management, project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, surveys, research, community development and private sector development. Mr. Emmanuel holds a master’s degree in economics for Development from the University of Valladolid (Spain) where he is pursuing with doctoral research, a MSc in Monitoring and Evaluation (UTAMU, Uganda) and a BSc in Economics from the Catholic University of Bukavu (DRC) where he was lecturer.
